This story explores the ways in which Australia is a safe haven for Slobodan. This film is an honest account of Slobodan’s family experiences and the reason for their migration to Australia.
Digital Stories
T he Youth Documentary Project (YDP) also includes the creation of digital stories, which are first person narratives. Both the YDP and the digital stories project affirms the importance of understanding individual perspectives in our culture.
The facilitator works one-on-one with the participant to create these stories. In 2011, digital stories were created by:
- Young people at Bayley House, Brighton East
- Students at Berendale School, East Hampton
